Relaxation Self-hypnosis

Find a comfortable position and close your eyes.

Breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Count down each breath starting at 10 and ending at 1.

Breathe in... (10)... Breathe out

Breathe in... (9)... Breathe out

When you reach 1 affirm mentally: "I am completely relaxed."

Now starting with your toes, focus on relaxing each muscle. Breathe in...relax the toes, and breathe out.

Breathe in... relax the feet... breathe out.

Breathe in... relax the ankles... breathe out.

Relax your calves and shins. Relax your knees.

With each breath, relax the next body part up. Go through your thighs, hips, pelvis, stomach and lower back, chest and upper back.

With each breath, relax your fingers, hands, wrists, forearms, elbows, shoulders, neck and finally your head.

Repeat the affirmation: "I am completely relaxed." At this point in the hypnotic state, you can make any affirmation you wish to carry with you.

When you are ready to come out of the hypnotic state, count from one to ten and affirm mentally: "When I reach the number ten, I will be fully awake, conscious and ready to go on with my day."

With each number and breath affirm mentally: "I am awake."

Breathe in... (1) "I am awake"... breathe out.

Breathe in... (2) "I am awake"... breathe out.

When you reach ten, open your eyes slowly. Slowly move your limbs and head. Then gently rise and get a glass of water if needed. Forget about your affirmations and go on with your day.




 

Emptiness and Space

"Form is emptiness, emptiness is form." If you could see things through a powerful microscope, you would see how much space makes up each living thing. Subatomic particles are not actually particles, they are concentrations of energy.
