Gomukhasana (The Cow Face)
Kneel with your feet pointing behind you and your hands on the ground in front of you.
Move your right leg forward until it is in front of the left, and then slide your left foot under your right knee to the outside of the right hip.
Cross your right leg over the left, stacking the right knee on top of the left, and bring the right foot to the outside of the left hip.
Keep your posture upright while rolling the right thigh inward gently. Your feet should be as close to the hips as possible so that the position is fairly tight.
- Relieves tension in the hips and buttocks
- Increases blood flow to the torso
- Opens the lungs and chest
Keep the Flames Burning
Exercise regularly. Consistent exercise will keep you in shape and healthy. Keep the flames burning so that you don't have to restart the fire from scratch.
