My Pregnant Body - Week by Week Pregnancy

Week 6 - It's Not Easy Being Green!

Are you experiencing any morning sickness yet? The combination of surging hormones and your stomach emptying more slowly is to blame.

To ease the queasiness, try eating little snacks more often throughout the day and eating a few crackers or ginger snaps first thing in the morning - before you even sit up in bed. You should also make sure to get plenty of rest and avoid any triggers, such as certain smells or foods.

Your hormones may also be causing mood swings and headaches. Remember that all these hormones that are making you feel achy, sick, and crazy now and again are also making sure that your baby gets everything he or she needs to grow healthy and strong!
